Much like the original style these loops are made from real life recordings and then were transformed into new contexts, sometimes rhythmical and other times on the texture side. The source material is mostly tuned percussion instruments (6 of 7) and therefore this part of the series focuses more on the melodic side. Tape mimicking techniques were used (Speed / Cutting / Rearranging, Delay / Tape Heads, Wow, Flutter) and also modernized effects like buffer manipulation were added to keep the spirit of the genre but resulting in still fresh sounding material to create temporary Ambient music with a certain edge.
