Cycles & Spots deliver a great allround pack for Ambient music productions. Inside you'll find all necessary elements: harmonic and percussive loops like synthesizer drones, abstract rhythms, effects and textures. Three methods of synthesis were used to archive interesting sounds: modular, granular and FM. This collection is superb to create complex soundscapes and even full length songs / arrangements. Naturally single loops can inspire you for other projects or you'll find missing pieces for already started songs. All is rather on the experimental side to offer more individuality than classic Ambient. All loops have 90BPM, are up to 16 bars long and are key-labeled if applicable of course. Many have unusal lengths to keep the rhythms exciting. In the audio demo 2 loops are always layered.

Cycles & Spots crafted 185 loops covering all sorts of experimental sounds to spicen up your productions. Inside this pack you´ll find harmonic and percussive elements, all rather dry to let you have the pleasure of using your favourite effects on them. Cycles & Spots deliver more fine MIDI files made with modular synthesis / generative techniques and this time the double amount, meaning 10 compositions, each with 3 tracks which are 128 bars long (Around 4/5 minutes depending on the BPM). These tracks consist of bass, chords and melodies. There are no rendered Wav files included, this fun part of chooding the synthesizer sounds is completely for you to explore and enjoy. There are though 30 second examples to identify / preview the compositions and moreover to give inspirational ideas. To make the compositions even more generative / alive we recommend the following techniques: Use (random) modulation of the ADSR amp envelopes to shorten or lengthen the notes, randomize filters, effects or other controls of your synths and lastly you could try arpeggiators on top of the MIDI files.
