Cycles & Spots deliver another great synth for Native Instruments Reaktor, this one is an endless randomizable experimental sound generator. ChaosLab can play by itself and is also playable via MIDI input. It's basically a modular system that literally configures itself with the push of a button. That way you can create hundreds of sequences / drones / sounds which also can modulate themselves endlessly. Naturally you can also manipulate these outcomes with all the given controls and shape them further, this goes for beginners and advanced users alike, because a lot of effort went into the fine tuning of all the dials so that it always sounds interesting. This instrument is a fruitful inspiration machine, you could use the output directly or maybe record it and further design the sound, maybe cut out pieces, or feed a granular sampler with it, or play it rhythmically with your MIDI controller / keyboard.

This time Cycles & Spots created a polyphonic sequencer instrument for NI Reaktor to trigger either the inbuilt synthesizer or external ones. It has several sequencing modes from traditional to Random to LFO but even the traditional one has numerous order options like backwards, inside out, zigzag and more. Each Step Notes can also be randomized, tempo synced or not. This makes it very fruitful and usable for many musical genres. It comes with 20 sequencer presets and the synhtesizer also features 20 presets. Speaking of the latter, it's an analog modeled synth which let's you mix 4 oscillators where the sine is FM-able and the pulse with width modulation option.

Full Version Of NI Reaktor 6.5.0 (Or Higher) Needed

Cycles & Spots deliver 319 Wav loops inspired by the Musique Concrète genre from the early 20th Century for Ambient / Experimental productions. Much like the original style these loops are made from real life recordings and then were transformed into new contexts, sometimes rhythmical and other times on the texture side. The source material is mostly tuned percussion instruments (6 of 7) and therefore this part of the series focuses more on the melodic side. Tape mimicking techniques were used (Speed / Cutting / Rearranging, Delay / Tape Heads, Wow, Flutter) and also modernized effects like buffer manipulation were added to keep the spirit of the genre but resulting in still fresh sounding material to create temporary Ambient music with a certain edge. Most loops come with many variations. Use single loops to get inspired or combine multiple ones and build soundscapes and more with this collection.
