Cycles & Spots with an efficient Ambient atmos / sound effects release featuring a superb ensemble instrument for Native Instrument Reaktor. With this you can easily create rhythmic or non-rhythmic atmos or percussive sounds. 128 presets are included and you can insert your own sounds by Drag & Drop to get them totally mangeled into something new. The presets are based on handcrafted loops made especially for this (You can export them via the sample map) and dropping your own sounds over them will have 128 different effects. Of course you can tweak the hell out of these presets without any additional samples. If you want to though, an inital snapshot is given to start your own sound designs from scratch as well. Lot´s of possibilities with this one.

Another great additive synthesis based synth for Native Instruments Reaktor from Cycles & Spots great for the genres Ambient, Cinematic, Abstract and even for some danceable stuff. It comes with 100 presets, half of them are controlled via MIDI input and the other 50 make use of the inbuild step sequencer. The presets range from beautiful to weird in a good sense and percussive elements. The instruments allows you to step or scan through 4 additive oscillators to create interresting sounds and sequences. The scanning is done by an LFO which can be set from sine to random, so ongoing modulation could be set up. There are 2 combfilters included, one for the left and one for the right channel to manipulate the stereo field. A resonator can make the sounds string like and add a spring reverb style character. Speaking of, there is an extensive reverb to round things of.

Cycles & Spots created a a new version of their first Reaktor instrument Lifeform with 400 samples implemented, a perfect tool for Ambient productions and soundscape building. It's very easy and quick to get beautiful or harmonic or disharmonic textures, even using only one sample. These can be very dynamic in terms of changes in the actual sound over long time periods (You can cross-modulate all LFOs with each other). Though it is also possible to dive deep into this instrument and control every little detail. The Lifeform concept is to have 2 granular samplers playing and mixing these together plus lots of modulation. In fact this version has a modulation matrix featuring 8 LFOs (sine to random) and 8 destinations for the granular samplers. Both samplers feature the standard grain funktions and can be frequency shifted and equalized. Effect-wise there are grain delays for the left and right channel and a superb lush reverb.
