Synthwave Roulette

DDL present a fine pack of a Synthwave / Italo Disco / Nu Disco fusion style featuring 10 themes including Wav and MIDI files. All harmonics are kept in one key (Gm) and by this are easily to mash up, if you would like to do so. Further, all these are delivered as MIDI files so you could exchange them. Besides the bass, chord and melody loops you´ll find drum elements as kick, snare, hihat and percussion. Lots of fun awaiting you if you´re into the 80s flavoured Nu Disco sound.

DDL crafted an Ableton Live template to create Synthwave songs with ease. Drum elements and synths are included with many patterns and lots of possible options to change and shape sounds and sequences. You can choose between multiple kicks and snares, adust pitch and change hihat and tom sounds. Further you have many patterns for chords, basslines, melodies and arpeggiators and you can play your own sequences easily as everthing will be automatically in tune. The scale can be changed. You can even trigger chords plus basslines by pressing down one note. Naturally you can edit everything and also use your own favourite synths, wether these come from within Live or 3rd party companies.

Surely you want to use a vintage synth to create this specific style and KORG´s Mono/Poly (Included in their VST Legacy Collection) is one of the best. You´ll get just the right balance of bass, arp, lead, brass, pad, pluck and chord sounds to build your songs. As a bonus, all MIDI files from the demo are included. These btw are all in key Cm which makes it easy to find matching ones. Most of these presets can be tweaked via the modulation wheel, besides all other assignable knobs and functions of the Mono/Poly of course.
