CAS are back with ten 80s flavoured construction kits, featuring Wav and MIDI files in a faster Synthwave style. All content is royalty free as they come but can be easily mashed up as well as all harmonic content is in the same key. All basslines, chords and melodies can be changed via the given MIDI files, if needed. As these are classic harmonies they can work in other genres, too. Especially for lovers of the 1980s sound though this pack will bring a lot of fun. Try your favourite analog or digital synths to get other flavours out of this.

Cycles & Spots sampled sounds from digital synthesizers of the 80s and used these as the basis to craft this rompler for Native Instruments Reaktor with 249 presets for obviously 80s inpired music genres but also Lo-Fi, Ambient and even House music productions. You'll hear familiar 80s sounds but then again also in new and unheard layerings. This instrument features 2 sample players with seperate amp envelopes to layer sounds and process them further with a filter, LFO, chorus, delay and reverb. The latter FX can instanlty change all sounds to an Ambient music character. The sound sources are sampled from a single note each which makes this rompler perfect also for Lo-Fi productions as the presets sound brilliant in a 2 octaves range and get very gritty beyond that. As the LFO let's you modulate the pitch you can make the sounds wobble as if they were playing from an old tape machine. You can save your own presets by mixing the 200 given source rom sounds.

Cycles & Spots´ 80s Pop series is back with 15 more righteous themes featuring chord, bass, melody and beat loops. The latter come as mixdowns and as seperate parts (Kick, snare, hihat etc.) and all harmonies are provided as MIDI files as well. This time all harmonies are in the same key, allowing you to mash up all melodies, basses and chord progressions from different themes. All sounds can be switched to be coming from your favourite synth via the MIDI files. These themes can be the basis not only for retro songs but modern pieces as well as good harmonies never will be old.
