That way you can create hundreds of sequences / drones / sounds which also can modulate themselves endlessly. Naturally you can also manipulate these outcomes with all the given controls and shape them further, this goes for beginners and advanced users alike, because a lot of effort went into the fine tuning of all the dials so that it always sounds interesting.
