Playground is a creative sample player useful for several genres (Hip Hop, House, Ambient & more). It comes with 50 carefully designed kits, each consists of 16 samples which all go along very well (no need for music theory). These kits consist of drums and or sounds (like chords, bass & more) or a mixture of those. It's fun and easy to play around and quickly get song ideas and variations. It's also possible to use more than one instance to combine different kits to get more complex structures (CPU friendly). This instrument is most fun with a grid / pads MIDI controller but works nicely with any other MIDI device. The onboard effects (reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, pitch / pan LFO) and the amp envelope let you shape the sound some more. This instrument is meant to give you quick and direct inspirations without thinking too much.

The loops offer driving low and mid/high frequency sequences, the one shots bring you floor destroying kick drums to feed your sampler or drum machine. So you'll get everything you need to build solid Techno foundations. One use case scenario is to add hihats and percussive elements and maybe one more synth line and arrange a full track. Another one is to let single or multiple loops inspire you to start your productions or you might want to add missing pieces from this content to your tracks to finish them. C&S deliver another fine Reaktor instrument for Ambient / Experimental productions. It's based on randomizing granular synthesis (2 samplers) amd effects to build long evolving soundscapes. Integrated are 200 samples, 100 of these are synthesizer harmonies/ melodies and the other 100 are field recordings. The latter feature recordings of nature surroundings from different world locations, insects, motorbike engine, chantings, underwater sounds (hydrophone mic), inside-object-sounds (contact mic), wind chimes, water bottles, metal objects, flutes and more. 4 effects are available to enhance the sounds: reverb, delay, stereo grain delay and equalizer. Alltogether the instrument has 17 parameter options to randomize, these are ongoing and make it possible to create ever changing soundcapes.
