Cycles & Spots are back with another great Reaktor instrument. SampleMod turns your samples or loops into longer modulating sequences and with the implemented 254 samples can be useful for many genres like Ambient, IDM, House, Minimal, Techno and Chiptune, possibly even more depending on the samples you can import into it by drag & drop. It works by using the inbuilt sequencer to manipulate pitch and amplitute plus adding LFOs for the amp envelope, the loop start /length withing the sample and a frequency shifter. Afterwards you can further process the sound with effects (Reverb, Delay, Stereo Tremolo, Grain Delay) and lastly a compressor. You can though easily get good results by just using one of the given options to manipulate the sample.

Cycles & Spots drop their first VST3 plugin with DeepDrum which is a sample player groovebox (or drum machine solely) including 400 one-shot samples for Deep House / Deep Tech and such featuring kick, clap, snare, hihat close, hihat open, bass and chord sounds. It comes with 50 banks / presets (you can create your own ones easily and quickly) and 25 bonus MIDI files. The latter form royalty free track starter structures which you can use right away or alter further (try using other presets). 8 sample slots can be used in a preset at a time. Each slot consits of 2 samples though which means you can form even new sounds by mixing samples (sound design). For sound manipulation you will get control of volume, panning, pitch, adsr, frequency shifter, 3 filters, 1 band equalizer, reverb, delay, 4 lfos and a modulation matrix. The latter let's you put any lfo on any parameter for extra movement. The instrument includes an option to change it's appearance to a dark and a light skin. The 8 slots can be routed to single mono outputs.

DMTM is like a mini DAW for Native Instruments Reaktor for the production of Deep Tech / Minimal / Deep House tracks. 6 Samplers not only play the 600 included samples (beat, bass, chords, hihat, percussion) but also can mash these up totally by reordering them (new since 4) and changing the pitch and frequency. Naturally you can further manipulate them with filters (Assigned LFOs) and by adding reverb and delay. DMTM 7 let’s you create complex patterns which change over time by using polyrhytms and complex synced LFOs. DMTM 7 supports pattern switch via MIDI input. All samplers have individual outputs as well. Produce complete minimalistic deep & technoid tracks or work on them further in your favourite DAW.
