The series' concept is that besides some serious pumping beats the harmonies all root on the chosen chords, so the bassline uses the rhythm and root notes of the chord (different octave). Also mostly all melodies do the same thing to thicken the main character of the tracks. This is an old skool 90s House music method that still works.
