As always, a lot of effort went into the precise selection of authentic gear to get the sound right, though this time with more focus on modernizing the mixes like real pumping deep bass. Drum machines and synthesizers of that 80s area were carefully chosen to mimic that sound which is still found in modern productions, in terms of roots and aesthetics. Occasionally you'll find an additional melody and drum MIDI files in the kits. Most of the content are single files, a few are multi MIDI files. Some of the files are key-labeled. This pack is quite fruitfully and long lasting with its amount of content, especially considering that these MIDI files can be used for different musical genres like Soul, Hip Hop and House music. The MIDI files are taken from our packs Soulful Grooves 1-6, Soulful House 1-2 and Soulful Laidback.
