Cycles & Spots deliver another great synth for Native Instruments Reaktor, this one is an endless randomizable experimental sound generator. ChaosLab can play by itself and is also playable via MIDI input. It's basically a modular system that literally configures itself with the push of a button. That way you can create hundreds of sequences / drones / sounds which also can modulate themselves endlessly. Naturally you can also manipulate these outcomes with all the given controls and shape them further, this goes for beginners and advanced users alike, because a lot of effort went into the fine tuning of all the dials so that it always sounds interesting. This instrument is a fruitful inspiration machine, you could use the output directly or maybe record it and further design the sound, maybe cut out pieces, or feed a granular sampler with it, or play it rhythmically with your MIDI controller / keyboard.

Cycles & Spots present an awsome glicth sample pack with Outlandish Structures that features 200 rhythmic plus another 200 harmonic loops. These are perfect for Ambient or experimental music productions. The focus in the shaping of these material was in making them sound unusual in terms of rhythm and sound. Cycles & Spots deliver more fine MIDI files made with modular synthesis / generative techniques and this time the double amount, meaning 10 compositions, each with 3 tracks which are 128 bars long (Around 4/5 minutes depending on the BPM). These tracks consist of bass, chords and melodies. There are no rendered Wav files included, this fun part of chooding the synthesizer sounds is completely for you to explore and enjoy. There are though 30 second examples to identify / preview the compositions and moreover to give inspirational ideas. To make the compositions even more generative / alive we recommend the following techniques: Use (random) modulation of the ADSR amp envelopes to shorten or lengthen the notes, randomize filters, effects or other controls of your synths and lastly you could try arpeggiators on top of the MIDI files.
