Ambient is timeless but you could have heard tunes like this in cosy dark chillout rooms of many party venues of the 1990s. Yet this kits are also pretty much 80s influenced in terms of gear that has been used. This all leaves a lot of directions to go to with these kits wether you modernize them or use them in a dance context (These have 128 BPM) or you simply go with the given vibe. Another option is to exchange all sounds via the given MIDI files and use your own favourite gear. You could also easily mash up different kits as they are all in the same key.

Cycles & Spots are back with the follow up to the Synthwave Chillout series with these 20 construction kits featuring Wav loops and the corresponding MIDI files. Obviously it's Synthwave slowed down to 90 BPM for the chill vibe. The kits consist of bass, chord and melody each (no drums). There's an arpeggiator on the chords in almost every kit. Same goes for the bass. You could choose your own arps (for the MIDI files) or leave the chords steady. In fact you could choose all sounds by yourself using the included the MIDI files. Like that you could go further from the original kits, like full Chillout for instance. Or you go another fun route and add drums to the kits and expand them, more or less. It's all up to you in which way you enjoy this pack.

This time with playable atmos and more control. 50 evolving pads as Wav files and a Native Instruments Kontakt patch form this great follow up release from Deep Data Loops. The instrument gives you ADSR control plus FX with 2 parameters each. This makes the pads playable. Naturally you can load the Wavs into your favourite sampler without NI Kontakt if you prefer to do so. A must have pack for all Ambient or Chillout producers.
