Cycles & Spots present a special synthesizer with sequencer using 12 independent clocks / rotations to create polyphonic melodies plus random octave option. Sound comes from a 2 Oscillators engine with lush reverb on top. Each circle trigger can be free or synced, has its own velocity, mute and start position. To handle the sequencer more easy, global controls are given to move multiple knobs or to shift them proportional. For quick results a random function exists, too.

Cycles & Spots crafted an instrument for Native Instruments' Reaktor to create long evolving, dark and huge soundscapes for Ambient music or Soundtrack productions. At the heart are 4 looping samplers that are being scanned through by LFOs. This can manipulated by a frequency shifter and widened up by a tape delay and a reverb. The 240 implemented samples make it easy and quick to create new presets besides the 15 given ones. It is possible to import own samples as well.

Cycles & Spots built MIDI files for 5 Ambient songs each featuring one bass and two melody tracks – all 128 bars long wich equals 4:16 minutes (120BPM). These were carefully created with especially designed MIDI generators to stay withing certain harmonic parameters. The main purpose would be to select your own sounds to shape the character of these songs. All are in the key D# so they can also be mixed together to even create more songs. Naturally you can edit anything you like on these if you wish to go even further. Mixdowns Wav files come as well with this pack to give you examples of usage. Of course these are as royalty free as the MIDI data and can be used in your productions, too.
