These consist of textures and percussive elements loops, some of them are of a harmonic nature and others aren't on purpose. Then there's another difference, many come from the acoustic world and some come from an electronic background. So this fine selection is suitable for many different scenarios in the Ambient / IDM / Experimental worlds. Most of the loops come in variations so that you can use even more than 16 bars and have lots of modulation. All content had been left as dry as possible so that you can add your own effects. This pack is quite fruitful and versatile for many of your projects.

Cycles & Spots deliver more Ambient / Experimental / IDM sources in the form of 51 new long modulating samples / stems made with the use of modular synthesis. The length of these Wav files is up to 4 minutes, the minimum is 50 seconds, some come with variations / mutations. To be suitable for many different creations / inspiration sparks, the recordings range from atmospheric to percussive and from melodic to inharmonic. These are meant to be either layered or to use single samples as a basis for a songs / soundscapes or you cut out pieces for further processing or to feed a granular synthesizer. You can find tempo synchronization yourself in some of the recordings but generally no sync was the aim to keep it more interesting in the Ambient / Experimental context. You'll find some samples with lots of effects and others rather dry. All in all this is well rounded collection, meaning lots of diversity for lots of inspiration.

This makes this pack useful in multiple genres like Ambient, Experimental, Musique Concrete, Hip Hop (Chopping) and more. Naturally the loops come with all the characteristics of old tape reels like flutter, wow, reverse, delays and such, sometimes more and other times less. You can easily find matching content or you use single loops to fill or build on tracks. This pack suits also well for collages and soundscapes. Purposely you won't find loops with strict quantization, in fact all comes from human feel to keep it authentic to the 1960s / 1970s use of tape machines.
