Yet this kits are also pretty much 80s influenced in terms of gear that has been used. This all leaves a lot of directions to go to with these kits wether you modernize them or use them in a dance context (These have 128 BPM) or you simply go with the given vibe. Another great Ambient production Reaktor instrument from Cycles & Spots. This one is a multi granular soundscaper with 201 samples implemented. These samples are actually 67 kits with 3 matching samples each, meaning that this instrument is quite quick to use and you can get easily good results with many sweet spots for all settings. You can though mash up these samples from different kits and you could also use your own samples (Using Reaktors Sample Map) and maybe make dissonant stuff. The main idea though is to slow down 3 matching samples and let these modulate individually to create huge beautiful, calming and peaceful soundscapes that can feel alive / organic.
