Cycles & Spots sampled sounds from digital synthesizers of the 80s and used these as the basis to craft this rompler for Native Instruments Reaktor with 249 presets for obviously 80s inpired music genres but also Lo-Fi, Ambient and even House music productions. You'll hear familiar 80s sounds but then again also in new and unheard layerings. This instrument features 2 sample players with seperate amp envelopes to layer sounds and process them further with a filter, LFO, chorus, delay and reverb. The latter FX can instanlty change all sounds to an Ambient music character. The sound sources are sampled from a single note each which makes this rompler perfect also for Lo-Fi productions as the presets sound brilliant in a 2 octaves range and get very gritty beyond that. As the LFO let's you modulate the pitch you can make the sounds wobble as if they were playing from an old tape machine. You can save your own presets by mixing the 200 given source rom sounds.

Cycles & Spots deliver their follow up Kontakt instrument for vocals. It comes with 4 banks (Characteristics) of vocal phrases which you can put together as you please. Moreover the vocals can be manipulated in sound by tuning, formant shifting and adjusting the speed and each vocal´s starting point can be set seperately. Last but not least 4 effects (Reverb, Stereo Widener, Chorus, Delay) can be applied and adjusted. If you for any reason don´t want to use Kontakt you can directly work with the vocals by going to the specific folders. This is a excellent tool for all Deep House / Minimal / House / Techno / Tech House producers.

Cycles & Spots crafted an easy to use (randomizable) groovebox for Reaktor for House to Minimal featuring 8 tracks (bass, chord, melody, kick, hihat, clap, snare, percussion). It comes with 50 main presets (song sketches, free to use) and 400 underlying sequencer presets. These can be randomized per button press or manually edited. The randomizer chooses random scales, key, sequences, drum samples, synth presets and modulations – that leads to a lot of possible outcomes to start your own creations quickly. This all means that this groovebox is easy to use for beginners but also let's you go deeper if you want. Patterns can be selected per MIDI and so arranged into songs in a DAW (or simply recorded). If you know the C&S' Deep Minimal Trax Maker series – this is similar but offers much more control over each single elements since no loops are used here.
