They are not normalized either for quicker usage to remain the mix balance as all beat, bass and chord loops match loudness roughly, naturally you can still adjust them to your likings. Most of the loops come in 2 and up to 4 variations.You could go fully oldskool in style with this colection but you could also build modern sequences around these base elements for more contemporary genres like Minimal for instance.

Once more the typical instrumentation has been used to create this pack, however you could change that with the given MIDI files and use your own sounds. Expect rather simple structures that define this genre and that are still highly effective though. Each kit features bassline, chords & melody tracks plus the drum sections and of course, occasionally some acid styles.
