Cycles & Spots deliver more Ambient / Experimental / IDM sources in the form of 51 new long modulating samples / stems made with the use of modular synthesis. The length of these Wav files is up to 4 minutes, the minimum is 50 seconds, some come with variations / mutations. To be suitable for many different creations / inspiration sparks, the recordings range from atmospheric to percussive and from melodic to inharmonic. These are meant to be either layered or to use single samples as a basis for a songs / soundscapes or you cut out pieces for further processing or to feed a granular synthesizer. You can find tempo synchronization yourself in some of the recordings but generally no sync was the aim to keep it more interesting in the Ambient / Experimental context. You'll find some samples with lots of effects and others rather dry. All in all this is well rounded collection, meaning lots of diversity for lots of inspiration.

Playground is a creative sample player useful for several genres (Hip Hop, House, Ambient & more). It comes with 50 carefully designed kits, each consists of 16 samples which all go along very well (no need for music theory). These kits consist of drums and or sounds (like chords, bass & more) or a mixture of those. It's fun and easy to play around and quickly get song ideas and variations. It's also possible to use more than one instance to combine different kits to get more complex structures (CPU friendly). This instrument is most fun with a grid / pads MIDI controller but works nicely with any other MIDI device. The onboard effects (reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, pitch / pan LFO) and the amp envelope let you shape the sound some more. This instrument is meant to give you quick and direct inspirations without thinking too much.

Cycles & Spots present an experimental randomizable drum sequencer plugin with unusal grooves / shuffles. 3 samplers can be triggered with 32 sequencers, each with independent length and tempo so that even long modulating rhythms can be created. 50 presets can be used right away or quickly changed with randomize buttons for each sequencer and by selecting different sounds, 420 one-shot samples are included. BeatFreak makes beats / rhythms from standard to super crazy either in a quick simple way or by editing step by step in deep detail. The instrument works with the Sounfont format which can hold multiple Wav files inside, these widely spread and for the most part free downloadable banks can be imported as well.
