Cycles & Spots are back with more interesting weird analog synthesizer sounds with 1970s character. That decade’s electronic sources (synthesizers) and techniques (effects / tape looping) were used to create loops that still make heads turn and make ears listen carefully nowadays. This pack features 300 sonic sequences that can be used in numerous music genre productions like Ambient, Experimental, IDM, and even dance stuff (higher tempo) to get that extra spice to break out of any boxes even today. Or maybe you’re into soundscapes and soundtracks, then Analog 70s Oddity 2 is the right pack for you as well.

300 Wav Loops

It's time again for some retro analog beautiful weirdness at the Cycles & Spots headquarter bringing you 300 fresh new exciting Wav Loops for Ambient and experimental music productions. Once more some of the best 70s synthesizers and stereo recording tools have been used to recreate some of these typical most interesting harmonic and disharmonic sounds that are still refreshing in modern contexts. They come in handy for soundcape building, either in a disturbing as well as in a nice musical way. Perfect for Ambient, Chillout or IDM or even here and there sprinkled onto dance tracks (Background spheres or break effects). Put together some of these loops or get inspired by using single ones. The content is of course key-labeled which makes it easy to find nicely matching ones but you probably also want to go for disharmony vibes with this pack (e.g. hooro soundtracks). All loops have 100BPM and are 8 bars long.

300 Wav Loops

Cycles & Spots crafted a loops recorder in Reaktor that follows the basic idea of having 4 tape machines in your studio, though it didn’t quit stop there. This instrument can add randomness to the playbacks and by that can build everchanging compositions. Another main point is to have no tempo syncronization which adds more unpredictability and excitement. Double and half speed, forward and reverse play, amplitude envelope triggers and volumes can be manually set or randomly triggered. To get more of the old skool vibe, a tape sound emulation can be turned on for a bit of saturation and less or more of flutter and wow. On top of that the instrument features a tremolo effect for volume or left / right panning (also random rate possible), a dubby delay (watch out for the feedback) and a big reverb. So it’s easy to get real big sounding pieces out of this. The instrument is mainly to make Ambient, experimental music or soundscapes but it all depends on what you feed it with.
