That decade’s electronic sources (synthesizers) and techniques (effects / tape looping) were used to create loops that still make heads turn and make ears listen carefully nowadays. This pack features 300 sonic sequences that can be used in numerous music genre productions like Ambient, Experimental, IDM, and even dance stuff (higher tempo) to get that extra spice to break out of any boxes even today. Cycles & Spots present the follow up to Rhythm, a percussion instrument for Native Instruments' Reaktor. 800 fresh new loops are integrated in this version which also offers extended functionality. 8 sample players can be seperatly manipulated in loop range (so polyrhythms can be made), start, frequency, playback modes & speeds. Rhythm 2 also let's you now use a 4 band equalizer and apply 4 effects for each player seperaty. These effects are reverb, delay, tremolo (panner) and a phaser. Simple inspirations and complex percussive structures can be easily made from experimental material up to full House Music based beats. Snapshots (presets) can be triggered via MIDI input and like this bigger structures (song mode) can be crafted. 50 snapshots are integrated. Samples vary from top loops, kicks, traditional percussion, 808s, kitchen recordings to even full beats. The instrument features also seperate mono outputs for each sampler for those who prefer this over the in-built effects.

Cycles & Spots created 300 beautifully odd Wav loops for Ambient, Experimental and Dance music productions featuring both harmonical and percussive sequences. 3 methods of synthesis have been used to from these interesting sounds: Granular, Modular and FM. The samples are ordered accordingly in 3 folders. As always all loops are key-labeled. Everything follows 120 BPM. Naturally most DAWs can change pitch and tempo, if you want to do so. Get inspires by single loops or combine multiple ones to start or finish your productions.
