Cycles & Spots are back with a great auto-generating instrument for Native Instruments Reaktor which is perfect for a variety of genres from Ambient to Dance. This one is capable of creating percussive to FX / soundscape type of sounds, either modulating or straight from random to precise. One LFO triggers gates to 2 resonators and 8 further ones are there for modulating the heck out of these. The LFOs can be reset in sync if wanted. On top there are filters, tube saturators, frequency shifters and tremolos to shapen the sound further All this brings possibilities to a wide range of sounds and rhythms. That makes it a great and fruitful instrument to have fun and experiment with.

Cycles & Spots built MIDI files for 5 Ambient songs each featuring one bass and two melody tracks – all 128 bars long wich equals 4:16 minutes (120BPM). These were carefully created with especially designed MIDI generators to stay withing certain harmonic parameters. The main purpose would be to select your own sounds to shape the character of these songs. All are in the key D# so they can also be mixed together to even create more songs. Naturally you can edit anything you like on these if you wish to go even further. Mixdowns Wav files come as well with this pack to give you examples of usage. Of course these are as royalty free as the MIDI data and can be used in your productions, too.

Cycles & Spots have created a generative (self-playing) wavetable synthesizer for NI Reaktor. It is perfect for Ambient / Abstract music productions and can generate ever modulating sounds. It features 2 wavetable oscillators that are triggered by an LFO each. These syncable LFOS have various shapes including sample & hold and can be cross-modulated. They also can influence the wave positions. These LFOs bring lots of life into the potentially ever modulating sound. Random pitch can be applied and also quantized to certain scales and keys. Last but not least 4 added effects (frequency shifter with its own 3rd LFO, grain delay with more random options, diffusion delay, reverb) round up the output and make it sound spacy/ roomy and dimensional in terms of the stereo field. Spawn is great for sound design and creating soundscapes or effect sounds, both harmonic and disharmonic.
