Cycles & Spots deliver more fine MIDI files made with modular synthesis / generative techniques and this time the double amount, meaning 10 compositions, each with 3 tracks which are 128 bars long (Around 4/5 minutes depending on the BPM). These tracks consist of bass, chords and melodies. There are no rendered Wav files included, this fun part of chooding the synthesizer sounds is completely for you to explore and enjoy. There are though 30 second examples to identify / preview the compositions and moreover to give inspirational ideas. To make the compositions even more generative / alive we recommend the following techniques: Use (random) modulation of the ADSR amp envelopes to shorten or lengthen the notes, randomize filters, effects or other controls of your synths and lastly you could try arpeggiators on top of the MIDI files.

That decade’s electronic sources (synthesizers) and techniques (effects / tape looping) were used to create loops that still make heads turn and make ears listen carefully nowadays. This pack features 300 sonic sequences that can be used in numerous music genre productions like Ambient, Experimental, IDM, Trap, Dubstep and House / Techno to get that extra spice to break out of any boxes even today. More fine Ambient / Experimental sound design from Cycles & Spots in the form of 50 long modulating samples / stems (Up to 3 minutes). These are meant to be either layered or to use single samples as a basis for a songs / soundscapes or you cut out pieces for further processing or to feed a granular synthesizer. As much as possible no reverb and delay have been used (unless crucial part of the design) for you to choose your own and apply to the samples (all of the content profits a lot from using reverb on top). A few of the samples use tempo synchronization but mostly no sync was the aim to keep it more interesting in the Ambient / Experimental context.
